Collegiate Ministries

Our One Priority

Our One Priority To start and strengthen congregations to serve as vital and vibrant missional communities.

Or in More Detail . . . To start and strength congregational expressions in a manner that empowers them to serve as vital and vibrant missional communities who reach and nurture the lost, unchurched, underchurched, and dechurched people who live or visit in our associational fellowship area, or who live wherever in God’s world our congregations are sent and received.

Collegiate Ministries

Collegiate Ministries focuses on the almost 50,000 students enrolled in various institutions of higher learning in the CMBA fellowship area. The strategy is led by Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM), a partnership of CMBA and the SC Baptist Convention.

Two BCMs meet within the CMBA footprint - USC BCM and Benedict College BCM - and many CMBA churches and members are actively supporting these ministries to college students. Both ministries welcome churches providing meals for meetings, financial support, as well as volunteers during major events, worship nights, and to build relationships with students.
