Health Kits Needed by April 30th

Collecting health kits is a mission project that any church can participate in. All ages can be involved in preparing and collecting these hygiene kits. Simply gather the six everyday items listed and put them in a zip lock bag. Before distribution, Christian literature or a note is put in the kit when given out or a personal conversation is held with those receiving the blessing. The gospel message is being shared through this act of kindness touching more people than can be imagined.

Health kits are used in several ministries. 200 are used at the South Carolina State Fair. The workers traveling with the fair live off minimal wages with little time to purchase hygiene items. Each year they look forward to this practical gift knowing it comes from Christians asking nothing in return. The rest are spread out to various ministries. The food pantries give them when they discover a need in the households they serve, such as victims of fire. The Good Samaritan Clinic, a ministry of First Hispanic Church, is given a supply to distribute as they see needs in the ministry. Some have even travel as far away as Kentucky, as representatives from CMBA churches go on mission out of our area.
