Insight 166: FaithSoaring Churches Dream a God-Sized Dream

“Our dreams are rarely big enough to contain the things God wants to do. We think too small. We think about what is possible, what we can do. God is far more creative.” [Queen and Davis. Hopeful Imagination, 2014.]

Congregations seeking to transform have the tendency to build a fence that defines what God can do in their midst. Significant congregational transformations build no such barriers. They seek to be ready for whatever God wants to do in their midst. When they ask God to lead they mean it. They rejoice in and gladly receive the fulfillment of God-sized dreams.
