Insight 193: FaithSoaring Churches Get Started Rather Than Waiting

Congregations seeking to transform often have a hard time getting started. There is a fear of resistance. There is a lack of knowledge as to what to do. Adequate leadership and financial resources are not present. Fear of the unknown is present. As a result, they may be immobilized.

Congregations seeking to transform start rather than wait. Inviting people to pray about the next steps under God’s leadership is a start. Discovering and nurturing people with positive spiritual passion about the future of the congregation is a start. Engaging in incremental transitions and changes in worship, disciplemaking, and fellowship is a start.
