Insight 223: FaithSoaring Churches See Vision as a Validator

Congregations seeking to transform have an ever-clearer vision of the future of the congregation toward which God is pulling it. But that vision is more than a rallying cry for the movement of the congregation. It is a validator of their actions.

Congregations who fail at transformation may have a relatively clear vision. At the same time, they compartmentalize vision as something they have, but not as something that must validate everything they do. Without vision as a validator, congregations do many of the same things they have always done that do not empower the fulfillment of their God-given vision.
