Insight 281: FaithSoaring Churches Have Wireless Throughout the Church

Congregations seeking to transform have wireless throughout their facilities. They have determined to encourage people to be interactive with one another, and with others outside the church, while attending church activities. They are aware that an increasing number of people are reading scripture, taking notes, and searching the web while attending church experiences. They are doing this on smartphones and tablets.

For security, the password to the wireless is changed regularly–perhaps even weekly. Rather than being told to turn off their electronic devices, people are asked to place them on silent or vibrate mode as a courtesy to others.
