Insight 346: FaithSoaring Churches Practice the Art of Active Listening

Congregations seeking to transform proactively practice the art of active listening. They listen for the still small voice of God in the midst of the chatter of a noisy world. They listen to one another within their congregational community to see how people are doing and how they are responding to the leadership of the congregation.

Most especially they listen to the voices of the non-churched people in their community and affinity group context to see what questions they are asking more than what the church wants to tell them. They listen and proactively respond with grace and love.
