Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer, November 4th

CONNECTING BAPTIST WOMEN GLOBALLY FACE TO FACE, VIRTUALLY AND THROUGH PRAYER

On November 4, 2019 Baptist Women from around the world will come together to study God’s Word, pray and give so that our world will be impacted for Christ.  This is a time of worship through prayer, praise and the giving of our monetary gifts to assist in serving those in need around the world.  All gifts are greatly appreciated.

This is an open invitation for all Women’s Ministry Groups within your congregation to actively participate with the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and the Gethsemane Women’s Auxiliary (GWA) for our Annual World Day of Prayer.  YOU ARE INVITED TO ARISE AND SHINE!

Our local associations will come together on Monday, November 4, 2019, 6:30PM at Concord Fellowship Baptist Church located at 7831 Wilson Blvd., Columbia, SC 29203.  We are excited as we focus this year on “SERVICE,” we conclude our five-year theme of “Arise and Shine.”  Baptist women living out this theme have experienced the Lord shining through them in Community, Transformation, Unity, Justice and Service.

This is an awesome opportunity for women of Columbia and surrounding areas to come together in the name of Jesus Christ.  Not only do we learn of the needs of other women sufferings around the world, but we also pray to God on their behalf, and offer our monetary gifts as a way of providing a much-needed service to these women.

Serving others allow us to experience God’s presence in new and exciting ways.  Encouragement and healing go hand in hand.  As we encourage others and they find healing, we are encouraged!
